Poland, Pierogies, Piwo and More!

Join me as we visit this beautiful country

from top to bottom!

Just a sample folks!!

    Itinerary

Day 1: Depart USA for Krakow

Day 2:  Transfer to hotel near the Old Town. Hotel  Senaki  or similar. Based on air schedules, we hope to arrive around noon.

3:00pm: Rynek Underground Museum Guided Tour in Krakow

We will go 4 meters underground to the Dungeon Market Museum to find ourselves on the same level as the cobbled roads of Krakow 12-13th century. Why did they get so low? As well as the first trading rows built here, as well as the rings and coins that were lost by the people of Krakow in the 13th century? And that's a secret for now, but we'll reveal it when we meet!

In the mysterious atmosphere of the underground museum, it will be very easy for us to get to the Middle Ages, to understand the joys and sorrows of the people of that time, their life, the architecture that surrounded them, and much, much more!

Time to rest before our first group dinner.

The Black Duck or similar in old town Krakow

    Sample Menu:

    Assorted pierogis to share

Potato pancake Topped with Beef goulash

    Apple pie Polish Style

    Trio of Krakow wines

    Day 3:

Up and at ‘em! We are off to explore the city on a private tour of Old Town Krakow and Wawel Castle
Mirror Bistro for a quick lunch – specializing in Pierogis

    FREE TIME IN THE AFTERNOON

5:40pm: Depart the hotel for a Night of Chopin! We must celebrate Chopin while in Krakow! We will enjoy a 50 minute concert with a glass of wine.

Enjoy a concert of classical music in a unique baroque hall with acoustics at the foot of Poland's most important residence, the Wawel Castle. Listen to the most famous compositions of all time, including Chopin's most popular works, in unique arrangements for piano, violin, and cello.

Following the concert, we will head over to Restaurant Chopin for some Polish delights to finish off the evening.

    Day 4:

Tour to Auschwitz and the famous Salt Mines

After breakfast, we will be picked up for a somber trip to Auschwitz  stepping back in World War 11 history during the Nazi Regime. More uplifting will be a visit to the unbelievable Salt Mines – the  Wieliczka Salt Mine tour!

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is a UNESCO World Heritage site with an interior of chambers, chapels, and tunnels carved from natural salt deposits. Learn about its interesting history on this group tour with an English-speaking guide. You'll descend 800 steps down into the mine, where the temperature is a constant 14 to 16 degree celsius (dress accordingly), and marvel at the human ingenuity and artistry on display.

      DINNER:

A short walk will take us to the Morskie Oko Restaurant for some wonderful regional cuisine accompanied by live Folklore music.

Day 5  After breakfast, we will take off for a full day private tour to Zakopane! It is a beautiful town in the Tatra mountains bordering Slovakia.

Zakopane is located in the south of Poland at the foot of the Tatra Mountains – the most beautiful and the only Alpine-like mountain range in the country. This is only about two hours drive from Krakow and we will bring you to the most famous Poland’s mountain resort. It is a great place that thousands of tourists visit all year round. While being the most popular winter sports destination from December to March, for the rest of the year Zakopane attracts tourists with a splendid nature, rich folklore and unique wooden architecture. Nowadays Zakopane has become a very fashionable tourist destination not only for Poles but also for people from all over the world.

We will take a funicular to the summit in the Tatra Mountains. Hopefully the weather will be clear to enjoy spectacular views of the mountains, Zakopane with a peek into Slovakia!

Let’s enjoy a 2-course lunch on the famous Krupowki Street with views of the Tatra mountains. Time to browse and shop after lunch.
