Paris, Castles, Apples and Regional Wines! A 7-day Gastronomic Journey!
Day 1: Depart USA
Day 2: Private transfer to Hotel Villa des Artistes or similar.
Leave luggage and stroll through the Luxembourg Gardens – beautiful at all times of the year! Let’s enjoy a traditional Croque Monsieur, and frites at Le Choupinet. Oh – and a glass of wine if you’re in the mood! Rest of the afternoon at leisure but not before we stop off at a local bakery to choose our dessert.
Day 3: Sleep in then enjoy breakfast before meeting in the lobby at 10am for a 2-hour private tour of Paris. We’ll enjoy an overview of the main sites of Paris at our leisure! At 12:30, we will board the Bateaux Parisiens for a leisurely luncheon cruise with wonderful wines!
The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the Eiffel Tower, Latin Quarter, Champs Elysees, or a museum such as the Rodin Museum, the Musee D’Orsay, or simply relax in a café to people watch!
8:00: Meet in the hotel lobby to stroll over to the Creperie Bretonne for a delicious dinner of authentic galettes – savory and sweet with cider from Bretagne or the beverages of your choice!
Day 4: Following breakfast, meet in the lobby for an early departure to the Loire Valley!
The Loire valley is world famous for two things: castles & wines. That’s two excellent reasons to spend a day with our wine expert! Spend an awesome day in Loire Valley with MyWinedays! As we drive you around the valley, enjoy a tour of Chambord Castle. Spend the afternoon gawking at gorgeous panoramas of the vineyards, and visit at least one wine producer. You will be our guest for lunch at a winemaker’s table… Your wine expert & English speaking guide will take care of all details, while you relax and enjoy the best of Loire Valley from Paris.
Dinner at Le Bistrot de Campagne! Wine and dine in a cozy French Bistrot!
Day 5: Off to Normandy!
Normandy… everyone knows this region for its rich history, from the Vikings invasions to D-Day , during WW2. The first visit of the day will be a cheese factory. You will then visit one of the region’s best cider & hard cider producers. After discovering the distillery, located in a building with an architecture typical of the region, you will have the chance to enjoy its beverages paired with local delicacies during lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to the discovery of the Côte Fleurie, the region’s most beautiful landscapes. You will first have a walk on the mythical beach of the city of Deauville, also called “the Parisian riviera”, famous for its casino Your last stop will be in the city of Honfleur, where you will wander through its romantic streets and enjoy delicious Normand “crêpes”.

Day6: Strasbourg!!
Strasbourg is the capital city of the Grand Est region, formerly Alsace, in northeastern France. It's also the formal seat of the European Parliament and sits near the German border, with culture and architecture blending German and French influences. Its Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame features daily shows from its astronomical clock and sweeping views of the Rhine River from partway up its 142m spire.
We’ll hop on the train for a 2-hour journey to beautiful Strasbourg in the Alsatian region of France. We will be tasting a multitude of regional dishes with a strong German influence. Alsace is also known for its wines and we will be indulging!
Grab a quick bite and check into the hotel before venturing off at 2pm for a half day wine trip outside of Strasbourg!
7:30pm: Dinner in Le Baeckeoffe d’Alsace or similar for platters of regional cuisine and local wines!
Day 7: We will depart late morning for a walking food tour of Strasbourg when we will sample the specialties of the region while enjoying the beautiful city of Strasbourg! Afternoon at leisure
Dinner at Corde a Linge or similar – the last hurrah!
Day 8 : Early train from Strasbourg directly to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris for our departure flight home!
With the exception of one lunch and one dinner, all meals, taxes and gratuities are included.
