The Sights, Sounds and Tastes of Italy!
Join me, Nancy, on this action-packed adventure to Rome, Venice and Florence to include the countryside of Tuscany! We’ll enjoy the unique flavors associated with each region while enjoying the sites and immersing ourselves in the Italian lifestyle!
DAY 1
Arrive Rome in the AM. Leave baggage at centrally located hotel and set off for a relaxing hop on hop off tour of the city. After a sleepless night on the plane, this is a great way to get an overview of the city effortlessly!
Relax before dinner or explore the neighborhood. We always stay in centrally located hotels with lots to explore on foot! Great menu planned with Pasta as Primi Piatti, secondi Piatti (main course) and some Tiramisu or Panna Cotta for dessert? Italian wine will flow to knock you out for a well deserved good night’s sleep.
DAY 2
Following breakfast, we will walk towards Vatican City for a guided tour of St. Peter’s and the Sistine chapel.
Lunch and afternoon at leisure. Around 6pm, we will leave Ancient Rome, cross the river and head into the Trastevere neighborhood. It’s another side of Rome where we will enjoy a fun and delicious food tour with Italian wines!
DAY 3
After breakfast we are off to the train station for Venice! A 10 minute walk will take us to our hotel to store luggage. After a quick bite at La Bottiglia - Local Street Food or Panini at nearby bakery, we will join a tour to explore Doge Place and St. Mark’s Basilica!
7:00pm : We will leave to enjoy our first Venetian dinner with antipasti, seafood and more!

DAY 4
After breakfast, free time to roam before our 11am food tour with specialty drinks! Yum! Rest of the day at leisure before we meet for dinner to seek out the best of the long-awaited pizza, craft beer and wines.
DAY 5
We’re off again! This time our train will take us to Florence. Our hotel is conveniently located near the train station. We will check in and enjoy a quick lunch at Trattoria da Giorgio or similar. Afternoon tour: Florence Highlights Walking Tour & Accademia Priority Entry
Early evening takes us into the joys of pasta making and tiramisu with free flowing wine. Fun times making Italian pasta and dessert!
DAY 6
After breakfast, we are off for a full day tour to enjoy the countryside of Tuscany to include Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa and Lunch at a local family run Winery.
Dinner : Restaurant to be advised but canal side?

DAY 7
After breakfast, we will take off as a group to tour the Duomo. The rest of the day will be at leisure to explore and shop! We will reconvene at 6:30pm to head off for the Grand Finale Food and Wine Tour!
