Hearty Cuisine and Flights of the Finest Beer and Wines
The Czech Republic is know for its beer, but did you know that Hungary is known for its wine regions? Come with me on this 4-country Tour!
Day 1: Depart USA
Day 2: Arrive Vienna and transfer to centrally located Hotel Royal or similar. We will leave our luggage and venture over to Demel Coffee House, a renowned Viennese coffee shop for a light lunch and specialty pastries along with a hot drink to counteract our jet lag!
Explore St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Vienna Opera House on foot before checking into our rooms.
7:00pm: Rendez-vous in the hotel lobby for a quick stroll to Café Central for Schnitzel and Strudel while enjoying live music!
Day 3: After breakfast, we will depart for our private tour of Vienna capturing many of the magnificent sites, and ending with a tour of Schonbrunn Palace or Belvedere Palace. Lunch on our own. Some free time in the afternoon for shopping, drinking or nibbling.
7:30pm: Meet in the hotel lobby for dinner at Reinthalers Beisl for more traditional Austrian fare!
Day 4: After breakfast, the fun begins with a 9:00am pick-up by our private driver for an action-packed day as we make our way to Prague! We will stop and explore the beautiful Chateau Valtice followed by an hour long wine tasting ! Boxed lunch or lunch within Chateau grounds will be included to soak up the wine. We will arrive in Prague late afternoon and check into the Hotel Rott. Hotel Rott is centrally located in the main square of the Old Town, so it will be a perfect time to stroll around the square. We will meet at 7:00pm in the hotel lobby to make the trek up to the rooftop terrace for a glass of champagne while enjoying the panoramic views of Prague! Dinner will follow at a lively”locals” Czech restaurant featuring traditional dishes.
Day 5: After breakfast, we will leave for our 3-4 city tour to get the lay of the land and explore the sites and sounds of Prague including Prague Castle! Free time in the afternoon for late lunch and shopping.
6:00: Off to U Kuntstatu for an informational beer session and beer flight!

– explore the underground of the 2nd oldest building in Prague
– understand our brewing process step by step

Full of beer, we will make our way to U Pinkasu for dinner, dumplings and more!
Day 6: 8:30am pick-up by private driver for a road trip to Budapest! We will stop in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia to soak in the ambiance of this beautiful city. After indulging in our Slovakian lunch on the Town Square, we will reunite with our driver and continue our journey to Hungary. We should arrive by 4:00pm, and check into our centrally located hotel – Continental Hotel or similar. Relax or walk around the neighborhood. We will meet in the lobby at 6:00pm for a short stroll to New York Café for a glass of champagne or beverage of your choice. It is by far one of the most beautiful cafes in the world. Afterwards, we will walk to Vidróczki Csárda , a traditional Hungarian restaurant for some delicious food and drink.
Day 7: After breakfast, we will enjoy a private city tour with lunch. Parliament tour will take place before or after the city tour. The Hungarian Parliament is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.
6:30pm: We will enjoy a two-hour tasting of Hungarian wines at Taste of Hungary! Our wine specialist will educate us on the wines which will be accompanied by local cheeses, breads and sausages. Following our wine tasting, we will venture back towards our hotel to a wonderful Hungarian restaurant to enjoy more wine, live music and Chicken Paprikash among other specialties!
Day 8: After breakfast, enjoy a morning at leisure or join me at the Central Market! This is not to be missed. Enjoy the food stalls on the ground floor and venture up to the second floor to buy handmade crafts, souvenirs and other treasures! At noon, we will savor the ever so popular Langos at a local restaurant before our 2:00pm pick-up to the wine country! Our 4-hour tour will take us to Etyek to enjoy the beautiful countryside outside of the city while engaging in yet another wine tasting with local snacks!
8:00pm: It’s the last hurrah! Let’s enjoy our last group meal together and bid farewell to Buda and Pest!
Day 9: Transfer to airport.
All meals with beverages, with the exception of two lunches, are included as well as taxes and gratuities. Price is based on a minimum of 6 travelers. Trip is subject to cancelation if minimum number of participants is not met.
